The Trojan Horse - Birth Control

I will give you one reason why Divorce rates are through the roof, the numbers of babies that have been murdered in abortions have skyrocketed, and why gay "marriage" is the talk of the day. Birth Control. Yes, you heard me right. You are probably thinking that I am this crazy lady, on the far right that needs to get her head on straight, but I assure you there is good reason behind my madness.

Unfortunately in America the odds for a new couple  getting married to have a lasting marriage is not very high. According to most studies out there .. they only have a 50% chance of making it. People are complaining they are feeling used, they feel a disconnect and separation from their spouse, and that they just can't get through to them. They grew apart, and of course infidelity. The next time someone tells you that they are having problems in their marriage ask them if they are using birth control. I will bet you 99 out of 100 people would say yes! God knew what he was doing when he made this most amazing, pleasurable.. and unifying act! It is between the Man, Wife, and God. Once you put a barrier there... not only do you block life.. you block love.. and when you block love.. you Block out God.

Love always creates. God was so full of love that he created the world, He so loved the world that he sent his son.. and so to we must be open to creation, and the will of God. So, when we deliberately block out God, we are blocking out the Love, and it becomes a act of pleasure alone.. and it makes your partner into a object for you to use for your own pleasure... and not someone to give your heart, and all to...but to take from and use them for a purpose.. a means to an end... Then you are done with them. This is all a cocktail full of poison to kill ones marriage. First you take God out, Second, you make your "lover" your object, and turns your Love into lust... Which will soon make your sex life, dull and uninteresting. It will be like a drug.. soon, no longer a high and wanting a new "experience". Here comes infidelity. Do you see how this is all fitting together? It is a lie which the Evil one wished you to believe that is best for you.. but in the long run hurts you and your marriage. Even if a couple does manage to stay together, most of them after years of using BC are not happy, no longer have sex... the amazing, pleasurable, mind-blowing thing that God intended to be, and they live almost separate lives from their spouses. This is not what God intended it to be! The Roman Catholic Chruch doesn't make up all these rules for the fun of it.. they do it because they know that it will hurt you and love you. Not only that it's God's law!

I heard a great comparison by Dr. Scott Hahn that I would like to use here. If a woman was eating thousands of calories of Food only for the pleasure of it, and then afterwards she would run to the bathroom to throw the food up... would you think that is OK? No, that's called bulimia... and is detrimental to ones body. Food is meant for the pleasure (of course) but also for the nourishment. When you separate those two things, there is something wrong there. Not to mention, how birth control is extremely unhealthy for a woman including being a cause of breast cancer.

There is research showing that the fluids that are passed between the man and a female are a unifying act also. Each partner is sharing the others hormones, which unifies them. The more the act is done, the more you are unified, and you begin to even be aroused by the scent of your own partner since your body is now associated this with great pleasure. Over time, the Sex act gets better, more beautiful, and more unifying. The way God intended it to be. But when we use a type of barrier, for example Condoms, we are blocking these fluids from being shared. Those unifying forces that God so amazingly created. Which also in turn makes the Husband and wife feel a separation.. and that they no longer know each other.  When the husband and wife do not want to give themselves to each other wholly, it is detrimental to the relationship. Making Love, is just that, to make love, and love always creates. It is never selfish 1 Cor 13:4. Adding BC into your marriage, is saying I give you everything, but not the amazing gift of Life.. that aspect of me. I lay with you not for the purpose of marriage, but only to get a high from for the moment, and I am done. The ultimate act of self-giving, is when the ultimate unity, and Unity of Love will Happen.

Remember that Statistic in the beginning that 50% of married Couples get a divorce. One thing...That is actually out of the couples that actually get married. Since BC has entered into marriages, it has now taught the next generation that the purpose of marriage is no longer to "be fruitful and multiply" (Gen 1:28). Which in turn has made less and less couples make that unifying act of marriage under God. They see no point. Because if Sex only an act of pleasure and not of creation, and unifying act. What would be the reason that they would need to be united under God. Which brings me to my next point. Homosexuality, and Gay marriage.

Now, that society is under the impression that marriage is no longer the means which we join husband and wife, and out of the seed of love, children are born... Gay marriage of course is on the ballot. Marriage has been changed from a institution under God, that's purpose was to love so much to create. It is now only a name on a paper, a change of name, a ring on the finger and a big party. That is not marriage. We have become a society where pleasure is what rules, not love. Not only is homosexuality against natural law, it will never be able to have the love that a man and woman can share. The unifying act, the act of total self giving, the act of amazing love, that creates life. Until, this society changes, and makes Marriage again a institution of Love... Gay "marriage" will still be a threat. This culture is so confused, it no longer knows the meaning of marriage, and love. When you loose the meaning of Love, you lose God. When you loose God, you loose the purpose of Life. The sanctity of life.

Since we have lost the meaning of Love, true love, poor souls are searching for it... and finding it in the wrong places. Deep down they are searching for that real love. They try to find it in what the society says that Love is only when you feeeeeeel good, and when you get pleasure from something. Do, what you feel is right.. and good. So, they have sex ( you know that unifying act.. that is supposed to be for creation, which is now brought down to a commodity, and no longer an act for marriage) and they get pregnant. They have no idea what love is, and so out of selfishness ( remember here 1 Cor 13:4) they have an abortion. Murdering and Innocent child. A child, which God was trying to give to show them love.. which they were so deeply searching for. Life and Love are united, and when they are separated... what happens. They are lost. A baby is no longer seen as a life, and Love no longer exists.

Last note on Divorce, God has made it that when a woman has sex with her partner.. hormones are produced. The same hormones that are produced after birth, that make you feel connected to your child. Imagine. Woman who are searching for love, searching in the wrong places... have sex with some man they were never supposed to be with ( because society says that they could).. And these hormones are produced to make a woman feel attached to that man. You see this all the time, where you can't believe why a woman would be with someone who is taking advantage of her, who possibly is not working, a druggie or what ever. We see it all over! So then, these woman, who should be running from these relationships.. Stay in them. They get married. After years of this cycle of feeling used, abused and unloved. They finally gain up the strength to leave them... Another reason for divorce.

We must take marriage, and family back. Stop Birth control in our Marriages, and we will stop divorces, Gay marriage, and Abortions.

"Love is total — that very special form of personal friendship in which husband and wife generously share everything, allowing no unreasonable exceptions and not thinking solely of their own convenience. Whoever really loves his partner loves not only for what he receives, but loves that partner for the partner's own sake, content to be able to enrich the other with the gift of himself" - Pope Paul VL
"The fullness of a person is achieved by a unity of soul and body, but neither spirit nor body alone can love, only the two together. If this unity is broken, if only the body is satisfied, love becomes a commodity" Pope Benedict XVI (Cardinal Ratzinger)

Taken from St. Faustina's Diary Divine Mercy In my Soul

Today after Holy Communion, Jesus again gave me a few directives: First, do not fight against a temptation by yourself, but disclose it to the confessor at once, and then the temptation will lose all its force. Second, during these ordeals do not lose your peace; live in My presence; ask My Mother and the Saints for help. Third, have the certitude that I am looking at you and supporting you. Fourth, do not fear either struggles of the soul or any temptations, because I am supporting you; if only you are willing to fight, know that the victory is always on your side. Fifth, know that by fighting bravely you give Me great glory and amass merits for yourself. Temptation gives you a chance to show Me your fidelity. (1560)

On this Day,1917, Our Lady appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal. She appeared the 13th of each month for 6 months on which day she Gave a miracle to over 80,000 witnesses. Called the Miracle of the Sun. The event was recorded in newspapers all over the world including the New York Times. She stated many things durning the apparition here are just a few.
1. Pray for the Conversion of Sinners
2. She stated that we must pray the Rosary Every day
3. She gave the children a Vision of Hell, and gave them a prayer to pray for the poor souls in purgatory and for those in danger of being damned to hell.
4. End of WW1
5. That if men would... not turn back from God that a greater and even worse war would break out, and we would know by a night with a strange " unknown" light in the sky. On January 25, 1938 there was a light seen all across Europe and as far south as Southern Australia, Sicily, Portugal and across the Atlantic to Bermuda and Southern California. It was also seen from Airplanes, and was described as "A Curtain of shimmering Fire".One year later, WWII Began.
6. For the consecration to her Immaculate heart, especially Russia to be converted .. She said "Russias Evils" were going to be spread throughout the world... ( Meaning Communism) If not.
7. That the Holy Father would be shot.( Keep in mind that this was a secret, and no one knew till it was released by the Vatican). John Paul II was Shot on This feast day, May 13 1981. It narrowly missed his heart. "One hand shot the bullet.. another one guided it" jp2

If this was the case back then.. how much more of a need do we have now! Pray the Rosary, Consecrate your self to Our lady, Pray for the conversion of sinners, and Come back to her Son.. a loving and Forgiving God.

Deeds of Mercy

Our Lord To Saint Faustina 1936
"My Daughter, if I demand through you that people revere My mercy, you should be the first to distinguish yourself by this confidence in My mercy. I demand from you deeds of mercy, which are to arise out of love for Me. You are to show mercy to your neighbors always and everywhere. You must not shrink from this or try to excuse or absolve yourself from it.

I am giving you three ways of exercising mercy towards your neighbor: The first-by deed, the second-by word, the third- by prayer. In these three degrees is contained the fullness of mercy, and it is an unquestionable proof of love for me. By this means a soul glorifies and pays reverence to My mercy. Yes, the first Sunday after Easter is the Feast of Mercy, but there must also be acts of mercy, and i demand the worship of my mercy through the solemn celebration of the Feast and through the veneration of the image which is painted. By means of this image I shall grant many graces to souls. It is to be a reminder of the demands of My mercy, because even the strongest faith is of no avail without works."

Now that we have past the Feast of Divine Mercy, how is the lord asking us to show mercy, and be a good witness to his mercy? We came to him, asking for his mercy, and have received it. Now we must go out and proclaim it. As Christ said to Saint Faustina in the first paragraph, if we are the ones who are called to spread the greatness of Gods Mercy, we must be the one putting it into action. Showing it by our example in Deed, Word, and Prayer. Lets try this together, for one day, be an example of his Endless Mercy. Every time we are offended, do not wish revenge.. but offer a prayer up out of Love for Christ. If we see someone in the hall needing out help, stop to help them.If at work there is someone that you don't particularly like.. as hard as it might be, smile at them ( maybe even say hi...;-) ) If we have a quick tongue, think before every single word that you say today. Offer whatever feelings or words that you wish to say, to Christ, and ask him to purify them. At the end of the day see how well you did. See if the next day we can do better. Lets be examples of Christ's mercy, and be an advertisement for the great abyss.

"O my Jesus, You Yourself must help me in everything, because you see how very little I am, and so I depend solely on Your goodness, O God." -Saint Faustina

"For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" Matt 11:30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Pulling this weight, its to much Lord. I can no longer pull this load. My work is so heavy and unforgiving, that as I try to pull it with all my might, my feet only dig deeper in the ground. My strength is not strong enough for me to pull this behind me and I am exhausted. Here I am Lord, weary, and burdened. I ask of you to unite your self with me, together in the same yoke... pulling the same load. Let me find rest in you, and hope that I can finish this task with your help alone. In humility, I ask for your divine help, which in your mercy.... is eternal.

Shower in God's Mercy

Quote from Saint Faustina's Diary:
"Today the Lord said to me, Daughter, when you go to confession, to this fountain of My mercy, the Blood and Water which came forth from My Heart always flows down upon your soul and ennobles it. Every time you go to confession, immerse yourself in My mercy, with great trust, so that I may pour the bounty of My grace upon your soul. When you approach the confessional, know this, that I Myself am waiting there for you. I am only hidden by the priest, but I myself act in your soul. Here the misery of the soul meets the God of mercy. Tell souls that from this fount of mercy souls draw graces solely with the vessel of trust. If their trust is great, there is no limit to My generosity. The torrents of grace inundate humble souls. The proud remain always in poverty and misery, because My grace turns away from them to humble souls." (1602)

I am strong, I will not break There may be a hurricane, on the surface, a tornado, an earthquake, but in my soul there is peace. In my soul there is joy. I will not break. I am strong. For I am only being refined by fire. But I will not quit. I am strong. Because my strength comes from God! Who is stronger than all! I am no longer running on adrenaline.. but God's Grace!

Empty... yet.. full

Journal Entry 9/19/2010- Adoration
To be present here with you is something that many in this world may not understand and because of that not believe. But yet at times I take it for granted ,and don't see you present. Lord help me to grow in faith that I may not see with my eyes but be blessed to see you with my soul. Let my soul not be blinded. I know that you have good reason for everything and I am in your sweet embrace. Sweet Jesus, I feel empty... When I know I am full with you. If it is your will let it be done. If it is not your will and it be done because I haven't been faithful to you in any way, please send your spirit to me so I know what is causing this emptiness. Is this what you wish Lord? Than I accept. I love you, you know I love you. Perfect my love for you whether it be through the fire of suffering, or by your sweet embrace, but if it is to be by suffering, be close to me Lord. I do not wish to lose you ever. To say " I love you" doesn't seem enough.

Christ Has No Body

Teresa of Avila (1515–1582)
Christ Has No Body
Christ has no body but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
Compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good,
Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet,
Yours are the eyes, you are his body.
Christ has no body now but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
compassion on this world.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours.

The Rose

Oh my Jesus, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (Fatima 1917)

In order to pick the beautiful rose, to smell its fragrance, we must be first pricked by the thorn. Knowing of the flowers beauty, and believing in its existence is not enough for you to enjoy its aroma. You must have the act of picking the flower, and the prick of the thorn to reap the benefits of the rose. Knowing, that the moment I smell its fragrance, all pain is forgotten.

A prayer to St. Therese :

O Little Therese of the Child Jesus,
Please pick a rose for me
From the heavenly gardens
And send it to me
As a message of love.

O little flower of Jesus,
Ask God today to grant the favors
I now place with confidence
In your hands.

(Mention your specific requests)
St. Therese,
help me to always believe,
As you did,
In God's great love for me,
So that I might imitate your
"Little Way" each day. Amen

The Birds

This morning as I walked to the bus stop, I heard a sound that has been so unfamiliar to my ears for many months now. After such a harsh winter of record snow falls, and below zero temps, the recent warm up has been welcomed. As I was walking I heard the beautiful song of the birds. They were singing! How beautiful their song was! Their song, lifted my soul to praise God in all his works. Even the birds are happy when spring comes around. It reminded me of how even the little birdies praise the lord! Let everything that has breath praise the lord!

Pondering the beautiful song that was written this morning by God, and sung by the birds, I remember the death, and Resurrection. I remember my Baptism. I remember the promise of New life. During this dead time of year, where all life seemed to sleep, is now awakening. I have to ask my self if I would appreciate this sound if there was not a "death" or a slumber. A wise man once asked what we would do if the stars only came out once every 10,000 years? I know! We would be awake the whole night, praising God for his wonders! If we didn't know that it even existed would we not miss it? But once we found it, would we let it go, and let it loose its sweetness?

Awakening from their slumber, arising from the darkness, it's the dawn of the new day. It's the resurrection. But we must first pass through the great darkness, this great slumber, to get to the light. Not only to get to the new light, but to appreciate the beauty of the light.  The greatest of all saints, and even a few of us, might experience this deep slumber. Something called the "Dark night of a Soul". We can relate this to Christ in his passion, in his death... and the emptiness one felt. Even Christ felt this emptiness, in the time where he was glorified the most! On the cross! Where the victory over death was made, the greatest battle ever. We too must model our lives after this example and not give up. We will experience long periods which we feel as if we are in the darkest night, as dry as if you were in a endless desert, but we must remember... Christ in his most victorious, glorious time, was the time when he was abandoned, in every sense that could be. Emotionally and physically drained to the point of crying out " My God my God why have you forsaken me? ( Matt 27:46 & Mark 15:34 ) "Eli Eli Lama sabahthani." We unite our sufferings and our darkness with the same suffering that Christ endured on the cross, because it is redemptive. It brings us victory over our sin. Padre Pio once said "The longer the trial to which God subjects you, the greater the goodness in comforting you during the time of the trial and in the exaltation after the combat. " Just as Christ and his Victory, the glorious Resurrection and defeat of sin! We shall never give up, even in the most difficult times. The Lord only gives you what you can handle. If that cross is so heavy you can hardly carry it, know that God thinks ( knows ) you are some strong person! Know that when he fell, and could no longer carry the cross, someone came to his aid. He too, will come to our aid, and help us through! The good Shepard will carry us for he says that his yoke is easy and burden is light ( Matt 11:30). Do not get so lost in the darkness that you loose hope for the light in the dawn of the day. That you believe that the the light. For he is there waiting for you, he can hear you. Only testing you and your love for him, only offering you a cross that he knows you can bear. Giving you a key to heaven, because we know that Saint Faustina said that our Suffering is our Key to heaven. Jesus told her "If the angels were capable of envy, they would envy us for two things: one is the receiving of Holy Communion, and the other is suffering." (p.1805) So, Stay close to him in the Eucharist, and hold on tight to your cross. Be nailed to it with him, united with him so closely. What Glory! To be nailed with him! Only to experience the beauty, and the majesty of the resurrection with him. If you want to be with him in the resurrection, you must be there with him in the
crucifixion. In order to appreciate all that the lord will give me in heaven, and to appreciate the drinks of water I find in this desert, I must experience the suffering. I must first be thirsty to understand quench. I must first be tired to understand repose.  I must first suffer, crucified to my cross, to understand and love the Resurrection and New life. The greater the agony, the greater the reward.

Who knew birds would have started all this ? I guess my Dad was right when he called me Coo Coo! ;-)

Luke 22:44 "And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly."
